Woman carried to Sangapi HC on a bush stretcher

We value your partnership.  There are many expenses to running health facilities in remote rural areas.  Both Imane and Sangape have no roads!  Therefore we utilize mission aviation services to get supplies, staff and patients in and out.

Due to problems with government allocation, some facilities suddenly lost all government funding in 2018!  We are working to correct the error, but facilities like Bana are surviving only through church donations and the support of the local community.  In this area, 4 nurses provide all of the care for 15,000 people! (The nearest doctors are a full day drive away along a nearly impassable 4 wheel drive road which is sometimes washed away in the rains).

Giving to our greatest needs funds will help with transportation, medicines, emergency flights, immunization programs, housing, and other infrastructure.

We are also looking to purchase a new solar-powered vaccine refrigerator for our Tsingaropa health centre in the Jimi Valley.  One of these units will soon be available in country, but we are actively recruiting funding to purchase this critical piece of equipment for our facility.

We appreciate your prayers and your partnership.  As a non-profit organization, gifts to the Church of the Nazarene are tax deductible.  For Churches, donations count towards your Nazarene “10% giving credit”.
