Welcome to Rural Health Services web site. We are the service arm of “Nazarene Health Ministries” serving and extending the work of the health ministry to the rural and remote parts of Papua New Guinea. Our ministry operates Imane Health Sub Centre in the remote Morobe province, Sangapi Health Centre and Dusin clinic in the remote Madang province, Bana Health Sub Centre in the remote East Sepik province, Ulamagi in the National Capital District, Omai in remote Southern Highlands province, Tsingoropa in remote Jiwaka province, Baringil and Darebuno in Chimbu province, Gaire and Aroma in Central province. These centers are staffed by Nursing Officers and Community Health Workers. There are no doctors in these remote areas. There are also no roads to most of these facilities. People often must walk 3 to 4 days using bush trails. Medical supplies, staff travel, medicines, and emergency referrals are only done by plane through mission aviation. Our services include both curative and preventive health care through primary health interventions.
Our Vision is being the hands and feet of Jesus making Christ like disciples through curative and preventative health intervention in rural and remote parts of Papua New Guinea.
It is our goal to reach the unreached through health care ministry so that those affected can have access to basic health care and the spiritually oppressed will be brought to repentance and discipleship through partnership with local church.
